Fergie is making a fergalicious comeback. She recently released her first single in six years titled “L.A. Love (La La)” and is gearing up for an exciting performance at the 2014 American Music Awards, along with fellow super star performers Lorde, One Direction, Sam Smith, Mary J. Blige and 5 Seconds of Summer.
The single pays homage to her hometown of Los Angeles and is the first track to drop from her highly anticipated new album. She’s been working on the comeback record with a variety of producers, including RoccStar, Mike WiLL Made It, DJ Mustard and her Black Eyed Peas pal Will.i.am. So, what will the new, revamped Fergie sound like?
“It’s The Dutchess mixed in with some Rihanna… it’s like an upgraded version of her,” producer RoccStar told Idolator. “She has more edge, and I made sure she’s ahead of this current movement.”
While an album title and release date have yet to be announced, Fergie’s latest single has us ready to hear more of her new music.
