HOW TO VOTE: There are two (2) potential ways for you to cast votes for the Awards – “American Music Awards Website Voting” and “Instagram Comment Voting,” both of which are described below:

Or
I’m voting for #popsongmanchild

Any individual with a valid Instagram account may vote via Instagram Comment Voting, wherever the Instagram application or website is accessible, regardless of location.
VOTING RESTRICTIONS:
For both American Music Awards Website Voting and Instagram Comment Voting (each, a “Voting Platform”), you may submit up to thirty (30) votes per Award per day during the Voting Period on each Voting Platform. For purposes of these Rules, a “day” begins at 12:00 a.m. PT / 3:00 a.m ET and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. PT / 2:59:59 a.m. ET.
Turbo Voting:

Turbo Voting Periods are as follows:
Any attempt to deliberately undermine, circumvent, or manipulate the legitimate operation of the vote process is strictly prohibited, including, without limitation, (a) use of fraudulent, robotic, or ghost Facebook, Google, or Instagram accounts, (b) use of multiple email addresses to set up multiple Facebook, Google, or Instagram accounts, or (c) automated voting scripts, programs, or macros (not including legitimate third-party software that enables the scheduling of posts, or status updates such as HootSuite). Producer reserves the right to disqualify the votes from any individuals/entities that Producer suspects or finds: (i) to have engaged in manipulated and/or inauthentic voting practices; (ii) to have tampered with the voting process; or (iii) to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. Producer is not responsible for technical, hardware, software, or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost, interrupted, or unavailable network or server connections, failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled, or delayed electronic communications, or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the voting process or any human error which may occur in the tabulation of votes. Producer further reserves the right to designate alternate spellings, key words, or other criteria (as Producer determines in its sole discretion) that, if used, will qualify a vote as valid.
VOTING RESULTS: The total number of valid votes for each Award submitted on both Voting Platforms during the Voting Period and Turbo Voting Periods will be tabulated, and the winner of each Award will be determined based on the total number of valid votes received in the applicable Award category.
The winners of some or all of the Awards will be revealed during the live television broadcast of the Program scheduled for May 25, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT on CBS and streaming on Paramount+. Check your local listings for more information about show times. Winners of all of the Awards will also be posted online at TheAMAs.com after the live broadcast of the Program.
If the voting process is interrupted for any reason or is found to have been tampered with in any way, or for any other reason that Producer believes to be reasonably necessary or appropriate (including, without limitation, in instances of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical or system failures or disruption, ‘acts of God’ or terrorist attacks, or any other causes beyond Producer’s control), Producer reserves the right to select the winners of the Awards and may take into consideration the number of votes received by any nominee up until the time of the interruption, cancelation or expiration of the voting process and any additional factors or criteria as determined by Producer in its sole discretion.
RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: You participate in this voting process at your own risk. By participating in the vote for one (1) or more Awards, you agree to release and hold harmless Producer, Penske Media Corporation, CBS Broadcasting, Inc., Paramount Global, Telescope Digital Inc. and each of their respective parent, subsidiary, and affiliate entities, suppliers, licensees, distributors, and assigns, and each of the foregoing’s officers, directors, members, managers, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, without limitation, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of or in connection with your participation in the voting process and/or in any way related to the Awards or the Program.
Without limiting the foregoing, by participating in the voting process, you agree that the Released Parties are not responsible and shall not be liable for: (i) any incorrect or inaccurate information provided in connection with these Rules, the Awards and/or the Program, including, without limitation, any incorrect or inaccurate information that is the result of any printing or typographical errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in any of the voting methods, whether caused by Producer, platform providers, voters or otherwise; (ii) technical or service failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (iii) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the voting process; (iv) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the voting process or the counting of votes; or (v) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from your participation in the voting process.
GENERAL TERMS: Producer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to (i) cancel, suspend, and/or modify any one (1) or more of the voting methods for the Awards for any reason in Producer’s sole discretion, including, without limitation, if any fraud, technical failures, human error, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the voting process, as determined by Producer in its sole discretion; (ii) disqualify any individual Producer finds to be tampering with the voting process or to be acting in violation of these Rules or acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner; and/or (iii) to change these Rules at any time during the Voting Period and/or Turbo Voting Periods. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the voting process may be a violation of criminal and civil law. Should a person make such an attempt, Producer reserves the right to seek damages from such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Producer’s failure to enforce any provision of these Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
The interpretation and implementation of these Rules and any decisions or determinations made in connection with these Rules, the Awards and/or the Program shall be within the sole discretion of Producer. All such decisions and determinations by Producer shall be final and binding.
GOVERNING LAW; DISPUTE RESOLUTION: These Rules shall be governed by and enforced according to the laws of the State of California without regard to any rules relating to conflicts of laws. Except for Producer’s claims of infringement or misappropriation of Producer’s patent, copyright, trademark, or trade secret, any and all disputes arising under or related in any way to these Rules must be resolved through binding arbitration as described in this section. This agreement to arbitrate is intended to be interpreted broadly and includes, but is not limited to, all claims and disputes relating to the Rules, the Awards, the voting process and/or the Program. YOU AGREE THAT BY ENTERING INTO THIS AGREEMENT TO ARBITRATE, YOU AND PRODUCER ARE EACH WAIVING THE RIGHT TO TRIAL BY JURY OR TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION. YOU AND PRODUCER AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. ANY ARBITRATION WILL TAKE PLACE ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS; CLASS ARBITRATIONS AND CLASS ACTIONS ARE NOT PERMITTED. The arbitration will be conducted by JAMS in accordance with its then-current Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures (“JAMS Rules”) and will be held in Los Angeles, CA. The arbitration will be conducted by one neutral arbitrator chosen by the parties. If the parties cannot agree upon an arbitrator, they shall submit to the procedure used by JAMS to choose an arbitrator. The current JAMS Rules may be found on the Internet at: http://www.jamsadr.com/rules-streamlined-arbitration/. This arbitration agreement is made pursuant to a transaction involving interstate commerce, and shall be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act (“FAA”), 9 U.S.C. §§1-16. The arbitrator shall apply California law, as described above, consistent with the FAA and applicable statutes of limitations, and shall honor claims of privilege recognized at law. Notwithstanding anything herein or in the JAMS Rules to the contrary, the arbitrator shall not have the power to award punitive damages against you or Producer. The arbitrator’s ruling is binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. In the event this agreement to arbitrate is held unenforceable by a court, then the disputes that would otherwise have been arbitrated shall be exclusively brought in the state or federal courts located in the City and County of Los Angeles, CA. Claims of infringement or misappropriation of Producer’s patent, copyright, trademark, or trade secret shall be exclusively brought in the state and federal courts located in the City and County of Los Angeles, CA.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, (a) you agree that your rights and remedies against Producer will be limited to the right, if any, to obtain damages at law, and you will not have any rights in such event to rescind these Rules or to enjoin or restrain the distribution, exhibition, or other exploitation of the Program, the Awards or any advertising, promotion, and/or publicity thereof, (b) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred but in no event shall include attorneys’ fees; and (c) under no circumstances will you be permitted to obtain awards for, and you hereby waive all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and further waive any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
