The foregoing awards may be referred to herein individually as an “Award” or collectively as the “Awards.”

VOTING PERIODThe voting period for all Awards will open on October 28, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. ET and will close on November 16, 2021, at 11:59:59 p.m. ET (“Voting Period”).

HOW TO VOTE:  There are two (2) potential ways for you to cast votes for the Awards during the Voting Period – either by “TikTok Voting” or “Billboard Website Voting,” both of which are described below:

(1) TikTok Voting: During the Voting Period, you can vote on the TikTok application, platform, or services (“TikTok App”) using your tablet or mobile device. You must have a valid registered account on the TikTok App.  Log into your TikTok account on the TikTok App, and in the “Search” bar, enter “AMAs” to access the official voting page for the Awards on the TikTok App (“TikTok Voting Page”).

  • You can also access the TikTok Voting Page by entering any of the following terms, among others, in the Search bar within TikTok App:
  • AMA
  • AMA Vote
  • AMAs Vote
  • #AMA
  • #AMAVote
  • #AMAs
  • #AMAsVote
  • Vote

Other valid search terms include the name of every nominated artist, song, and album and will generate access to the TikTok Voting Page.

  • On the TikTok Voting Page, you will see a drop-down menu showing the categories or groupings of the Awards listed above (“Category(ies)”). The “General” Category of Awards will be displayed first. You can click the Category of your choice, and tabs for each of the Awards in that Category will be displayed. You can swipe right (or left) to see all of the tabs for the Awards (“Award Tab(s)”) in that Category.  When you click on an Award Tab, you will see the names and photos of all nominee for that Award listed in alphabetical order with a “Vote” button underneath.
  • To vote for a nominee, click on the Vote button. Once you have clicked “Vote,” you will see a visual confirmation of receipt your vote for that Award as well as a “Keep Voting” button and a “Share” Button.
  • The “Keep Voting” button will take you back to the TikTok Voting Page where you can select another Award Tab and cast a vote for another Award following the procedure outlined above or use the drop-down menu to select a different Category.
  • The “Share” button will allow you to share your vote to your TikTok, WhatsApp, Facebook, and/or Twitter accounts and/or via SMS text or email. Sharing your vote by any of these methods will NOT count as an additional vote.
  • To use TikTok Voting, you must have a valid TikTok account. If you do not currently have a TikTok account, you will not be able to use TikTok Voting unless you download the TikTok App on your mobile device and register for an account or register for a TikTok account on your computer at www.tiktok.com/en.  Registration for a TikTok account is free.  TikTok Kids accounts are not eligible to participate in TikTok Voting.

(2) Billboard Website Voting:  During the Voting Period, using your computer, tablet, or mobile device, open your preferred internet browsing application and go to www.billboard.com/amasvote (“Billboard Voting Page”).

  • When you arrive at the Billboard Voting Page, you will see a tab or button for each Award. Click the applicable tab or button to go to the voting page for each Award (“Award Voting Page”).
  • On each Award Voting Page, you will see the name, photograph, and a corresponding “Vote” button for each nominee for that Award, and you will be prompted to click on the “Vote” button for the nominee for whom you want to vote.  A confirmation window will open, and by clicking “Confirm Vote,” your vote will be immediately and officially submitted if you are already registered with and logged into your Facebook or Twitter account.
  • To use Billboard Website Voting, you must have a valid Facebook or Twitter account. If you are not already signed into either your Facebook account or your Twitter account, when you click on the “Vote” button, you will be directed to register using your valid Facebook or Twitter account. You will need to enter your e-mail address or user name and password to log in to either Facebook or Twitter, as you may select.
  • If you do not currently have a Facebook account or a Twitter account, you will not be able to use Billboard Website Voting unless you register for a Facebook account (go to Facebook.com or download the Facebook application to register) or a Twitter account (go to Twitter.com or download the Twitter application on your mobile device to register). Registration on Facebook and Twitter is free.
  • You will be prompted to accept either the Facebook or Twitter access authorization application (“Access Authorization”) the first time you vote, depending on whether you registered with your Facebook or your Twitter account. You must accept the applicable Access Authorization in order to vote at the Billboard Voting Page.
  • After submitting your vote for the Award on an Award Voting Page, you will see a “Thank You” page that confirms your vote and offers you the opportunity to share your vote to your Facebook profile or Twitter timeline or vote for another Award, or cast an additional vote for that Award via Twitter. Sharing your vote to your Facebook profile will NOT count as an additional vote. Voting is free, except for standard internet access charges which may apply if you are using a web browser or standard data charges which may apply if you are voting via your mobile device.

ELIGIBILITYAnyone with a valid TikTok account, other than a TikTok Kids account ,may vote using TikTok Voting, wherever it is accessible, regardless of location.  TikTok Kids accounts are not eligible to participate in TikTok Voting.  Anyone with a valid Facebook or Twitter account may vote using Billboard Website Voting, wherever the Billboard Voting Page is accessible, regardless of location.

VOTING RESTRICTIONS: For both TikTok Voting and Billboard Website Voting (each, a “Voting Platform”), you may submit one (1) vote per Award per day during the Voting Period on each Voting Platform, subject to the following:

  • On October 28, 2021 only, voting opens at 9:30 a.m. ET and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET that same day (“First Voting Day”).
  • After the First Voting Day through the end of the Voting Period (i.e., from October 29 – November 16, 2021), each voting “day” will begin at 12:00:00 a.m. ET and extend for the customary period of twenty-four (24) hours.

Any attempt to deliberately undermine, circumvent, or manipulate the legitimate operation of the vote process is strictly prohibited, including, without limitation, use of fraudulent, robotic, or ghost TikTok, Twitter, and/or Facebook accounts, use of multiple email addresses to set up multiple Facebook, Twitter, and/or TikTok accounts, and/or automated voting scripts, programs, or macros. MRC Live & Alternative, LLC (“Producer”) reserves the right to disqualify the votes from any individuals/entities that Producer suspects or finds to: (i) have engaged in manipulated and/or inauthentic voting practices; (ii) have tampered with the voting process; or (iii) be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person.  Producer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to make changes, corrections, or modifications to the voting process, procedures, methods, and/or periods at any time during the Voting Period and will post any changes in a timely manner on the Billboard Voting Page.  Producer is not responsible for technical, hardware, software, or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost, or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled, or delayed electronic communications or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the voting process or by any error which may occur in the tabulation of votes.

VOTING RESULTSThe total number of valid votes of each kind submitted on both Voting Platforms during the Voting Period for each Award will be tabulated, and the nominee receiving the highest total number of valid votes for the Award for which he, she, or it was nominated will be declared the winner of that Award.

The winners of some or all of the Awards will be revealed during the live television broadcast of the Program scheduled for November 21, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. CT on ABC. Check your local listings for more information about Program times.  Winners of all of the Awards will also be posted online after the live broadcast at TheAMAs.com.
