Los Angeles, CA (November 10, 2017) – dick clark productions today announced “AMAs Red Carpet Live presented by Security Benefit,” the official pre-show for the “2017 American Music Awards.” AJ Gibson, Marc Malkin, Laura Marano and Oliver Trevena will host. The two-hour pre-show will stream LIVE from Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 19th starting at 6:00 p.m. ET / 3:00 p.m. PT. The pre-show will be available to logged-in and logged-out audiences globally on Twitter and connected devices, and can be found at live.twitter.com/amas or via @AMAs.
Produced by dick clark productions, the “AMAs Red Carpet Live presented by Security Benefit” pre-show live stream will be available exclusively on Twitter, where fans can watch and participate in the live red carpet experience. Featuring exclusive interviews and a star-studded lineup of nominees, performers and presenters, fans will be able to engage in real-time conversation on the platform as some of the biggest moments of the night unfold. Marc Malkin is one of Hollywood’s most recognizable journalists and red carpet correspondents. A two-time Emmy nominee, Marc has broken international headline-making news about Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake and many others. A regular fixture at the Oscars, Golden Globes, Emmys and the Grammys, Marc’s social media followers have come to rely on and trust his coverage and expertise. He is also writer and an author. Originally from New York City, Marc now lives in L.A with his husband and their two dogs.
Actress and singer Laura Marano is signed to Warner Bros. Records. The 21-year-old is widely known for her starring role as “Ally” in the Disney Channel international hit TV series Austin & Ally. She won “Best Actress on TV” at the Kids Choice Awards and garnered multiple Teen Choice Awards nominations. Laura has over 11 million followers on her socials. Marano released the fabulous single “Boombox” last year on Big Machine Records, for which the video garnered over 45 million views. Laura was also named one of Vevo’s Top 10 Emerging Artists. Additionally, she wrote and performed the theme song to the latest video for the animated Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, which made its debut at San Diego Comic-Con. She has appeared in the 2015 feature film Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip and co-hosted TLC’s Say Yes to The Prom Dress. Laura is due out with two feature films; War With Grandpa – alongside Robert Deniro, Uma Thurman and Christopher Walken – and the Greta Gerwig-directed high school drama, Ladybird, with Saoirse Ronan. British host and actor Oliver Trevena has interviewed hundreds of celebrities and musicians at the likes of Young Hollywood, GQ.com and Sirius XM’s “Dirty Pop” alongside NSYNC’S Lance Bass. He was also recently the lead Host at Esquire Network’s “Joyride” alongside T- Pain & Mischa Barton and is currently producing and hosting ATV Music Sessions for Awesomeness TV & The Hollywood Reporter’s in-studio interview series with some of Hollywood’s biggest stars. As an actor, he’s appeared on series, such as “Leverage,” “The Good Guys,” and “The Forgotten”.
