The 2017 AMAs Was a Night of Flawless Collaborations

The holiday season is still a little bit of a ways away, but music fans got an early present on Sunday at the AMAs: AMAZING COLLABORATIONS!

Yep, on top of the trademark, thrilling AMA performances that talented artists give out every year, these cool collaborations made Sunday that much more melodious.

Kelly Clarkson and P!nk

Kelly and P!nk opened up the show with a powerful, emotion duet of “Everybody Hurts.”

Alessia Cara & Zedd

All you have to do is sit down and kick back while Alessia and Zedd transfix fans with their hypnotic, youthful-synth anthem “Stay.”

Hailee Steinfeld & Alesso featuring Florida Georgia Line and watt

Multiple levels on the stage meant a multi-layered performance from these musicians.

Imagine Dragons and Khalid

A burgeoning hip hop and R&B superstar with one of the world’s favorite pop rock groups. Yeah, safe to say this collab brought some “Thunder.”

Selena Gomez & Marshmello

This was the very first time that Selena and Marshmello’s track “Wolves” was performed live on TV and it was flawless. Safe to say, fans were ecstatic after this hauntingly good performance.

Macklemore and Skylar Grey

Oh baby, this collaboration was simply “Glorious.”

And finally, Diana Ross and her grandchildren. 😉

They might not have as many years of musical experience under their belt, but that didn’t stop Diana’s grandkids from helping the American Music Award for Lifetime Achievement winner from putting on a great show. Diana invited her grandchildren, along with more of her family and friends, up on stage to close out the night on an amazing, collaborative note.
