2016 AMAs Nominees React to Their Nominations

Have you heard the big news? The 2016 AMAs nominees are now out!

Drake is up for the most awards with 13 nominations and Rihanna is up for the second most awards this year with seven nominations. Drake even set an AMAs record for most noms in a single year, surpassing Michael Jackson‘s previous record of 11 noms in 1984.

Rihanna is the current record holder for the most wins in the Favorite Female – Soul/R&B category with five wins. Rihanna and Beyoncé will go head-to-head in the same category for the second consecutive year.

Voting for every 2016 AMAs category, except New Artist of the Year Un-leased by T-Mobile, is now open! You can vote online at AMAvote.com or on Twitter. Voting for New Artist of the Year Un-leased by T-Mobile opens on Nov. 2.
