It’s official, according to Mr. Harry Styles: One Direction has broken the VEVO record for most views in 24 hours!

When put to a challenge, Directioners can accomplish anything. When 1D asked their fans to politely break the Internet for their “Steal My Girl” video, they listened.

Harry took to Twitter to personally congratulate his fans, calling them “legends.”

The previous record was Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” music video, which racked up 19.6 million views in a day. But this isn’t the first time the boys have held the record. Last summer, “Best Song Ever” held the crown with 10.7 million views. Look how far we’ve come.
