Lorde’s ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay’ Soundtrack is Amazing

It’s an exciting year at the American Music Awards for Lorde! She’s performing at the AMAs and she’s nominated for four awards: Favorite Female Pop/Rock Artist, Favorite Pop/Rock Album, Favorite Alternative Rock Artist and Artist of the Year. While she’s being recognized at the AMAs for her 2013 album Pure Heroine, she’s now back to work on some new projects, including curating the soundtrack for the The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Pt. 1. Yes, Lorde personally hand-picked all the artists featured on the new Hunger Games soundtrack. How cool is that?!

So who did she choose? The soundtrack includes songs from Chvrches, Tove Lo, Tinashe and The Chemical Brothers, among others. Lorde even reached out to Charli XCX (who will also be performing at the AMAs this year!) to appear on the soundtrack. The “Royals” singer tweeted about how excited she was about working on this project.

Check out the full tracklist below and pre-order the soundtrack on iTunes.
