From Richie Valens to Los Tigres del Norte to Enrique, countless numbers of Latino stars have graced the AMA, American Bandstand and New Year’s Rockin’ Eve stages. This year marks the 15th year anniversary of the creation of the “Favorite Artist – Latin” category, and the 25th anniversary of Gloria Estefan’s appearance on the AMAs, the first Latin star to do so.
